Lauren joined the team as a Veterinary Surgeon in 2020, after having spent her time in mixed and large animal practice on the Shropshire/Powys border.
She is originally from Birmingham and graduated from Liverpool University in 2016.
Lauren's passion is Small Animal Veterinary and she loves to continually learn and develop her skills. She has an interest in internal medicine and diagnostic imaging.
For fun, Lauren likes to exercise by going to the gym, doing yoga, swimming and ice skating. She also enjoys exploring new places with her beloved Labrador, Guinness.
Jannine joined the clinic in May 2018 as part of our administration team and has since progressed onto becoming our Practice Manager
Jannine came to us with a level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management and has broadened her skill set by completing numerous courses within Human Resources. Ambleside Vets business requirements have grown over the last few years and this has made Jannine’s role within the team essential for the continuation of a smooth running, independant, caring Practice.
Although based upstairs in the main office, Jannine will always make the time to meet with our clients face to face and to make a fuss of their furry friends as these relationships are especially important to her.
A work/life balance is key and Jannine loves nothing more than family time with her 3 daughters, husband and 2 dogs, Mitsy and Pippi.
Sally is our friendly receptionist and usually the first face you will see when you visit us.
Sally joined our team in August 2018 and is perfectly placed in her role as she loves the interaction with clients and of course cuddling their furry friends. Previously, Sally was a receptionist in a High school and a PA for a government department prior to starting a family.
In her spare time Sally loves to socialise with her friends, fun days out with her teenage son and daughter and spending time with her beautiful cat-Belle. One of her biggest passions is her love for Cornwall and her lifelong dream is to retire there one day.
Georgie joined us in July 2020 and has almost completed her veterinary nursing degree at Hartpury University. Along with her upcoming qualification, Georgie also has two diplomas in animal care and management.
Since joining the team Georgie has gained a wealth of experience and loves the fact that everyday in the clinic is completely different.
In her spare time Georgie loves to spend time with her two dogs- Bessie and Charley and her beloved rabbit-Leo. Outside of work, Georgie's favourite thing to do is camping and exploring new places and meeting lots of friendly animals on her adventures.
Abi started her journey with us in October 2019. She began as a veterinary nurse assistant but enjoyed the nature of the job so much that she chose to pursue a career in veterinary nursing and we are so happy that she did as she is perfect for the role.
Abi's love for animals extends further than just her work life as she has a bearded dragon called Spike, a rabbit called Midnight and her lovely dog called Izzy.
In her spare time Abi loves ice skating and spending time with her family and dog in a cosy cottage in Wales. To relax Abi enjoys painting and embroidery and is a very talented young lady
